This bike is much larger than a Ninja 250. I'm 6'4" 220lbs and it fits me fine. I have a friend with a Honda 919 that I ride with and this bike is very similar in size to the 919. This bike has a very nice looking 250cc Vtwin engine with overhead cams.
This is a great starter bike as it's not super powerful, so accidental blips on the throttle wont flip you end over end. I have had no problem getting this bike up to 80mph on the highway. Acceleration is plenty adequate (faster than most cars) just not stupid fast like many of the current sportbikes.
Plus it's cheap and like new. If you want a good beginner bike that you can ride and not have to mess with working on, this is the bike for you.
I painted the bike black with automotive paint (it was red) and deleted all the graphics that say 'Hyosung'. There are a couple runs that could be buffed out if it really bothers you (by others) but it's a nice shiny finish that should be very durable. I prefer the stealth appearance as most people aren't familiar with the 'Hyosung' brand anyway. It looks alot like a Suzuki SV without the decals. There's a Hyosung dealer in Lawrence so parts and service are easy to find when this bike finally starts to need them.
This bike hasn't been layed over and doesn't need a thing. I'd like to get $1700 for it.

Looking ahead to Sunday, the www.noaa.gov weather website is calling for an overnight low from Saturday into Sunday of 51 degrees with a Sunday daytime high of 71 degrees. This could end up being the riding day that we have waited for all season long, so plan now to come along.
Members of the KSGMC always ride for FREE. Guests are $20 for solo riders and $25 for two-up riders. Yearly fees are $50 and $75 respectively. If you join the same day, half of your one-day fee will be credited towards your 2010 membership.
